Methods/Steps

Combine the white chocolate and butter and melt over water at about 40 degrees

Stir gently with a spatula. Do not let water into the white chocolate solution, this will cause oil and water separation

Heat the cream, syrup and rum together, stirring well as you go. Turn off the heat when the cream is about to boil

Slowly pour the cream into the white chocolate solution and stir well
